An all-new 5-song EP from RIVERMAYA is set to hit Metro Manila stores on Saturday, August 18th, and go nationwide by August 25th.

Titled BAGONG LIWANAG, it features the new single SAYANG, which the band has described as an open letter to the fans in song form and was written by Japs Sergio

Also on the BAGONG LIWANAG EP are BANDA NG BAYAN, SUMIGAW, NAWAWALA (written by Mike Elgar), and OLATS.

The EP took a record three months to write, produce and record, reflecting the band’s renewed commitment to stay true to its music and its fans.

BAGONG LIWANAG is released on the band’s own label, Revolver Music, and licensed to Warner Music Philippines.
SUMIGAW, penned by Mark Escueta, was written as the new station ID song of top Philippine tv channel, Studio 23. The song simultaneously premiered over the weekend on ABS-CBN, Lifestyle Network, DWRR, and Studio 23.
