"Nasaan si Francis?",
a dark comedy full of laughable mishaps and crazy twists, stars Rivermaya's multi-talented and charismatic frontman, Rico Blanco with Epy Quizon, Paolo Contis, and Christopher de Leon. Rico plays Sonny, the well-meaning, weak-witted sidekick of Boy (Paolo Contis) who are out to make a quick buck from their rich druggy friend Francis (Epy Quizon) to free Boy's girlfriend from the clutches of a violent mama-san.

The movie premieres on Feb 21 (SM Mega Mall, Cinema 2) and begins screening on March 1.

Created from a story developed by Bacolod-based directors Peque Gallega and Gabriel Fernandez (who directed the movie as well as the play), 'Nasaan si Francis?' features an impressive ensemble cast that also includes Ricky Davao, Karl Roy, Rita Avila, Angel Aquino, Tanya Garcia, Julia Clarete, and Michael de Mesa. Epy does double-duty as the movie's producer alongside Michael de Castro under the aegis of Tony Gloria's Unico Films.

Rico was previously lauded for his critically-acclaimed 'Judas' alongside Noel Cabangon, Cynthia Alexander and Joey Ayala in Jesus Christ Superstar, in 2000 and 2001. He has also scored Celeste Legaspi's Saranggola ni Pepe for theater.

Despite numerous movie and tv offers, Rico says he only accepted this project because a Peque Gallaga protege was at the helm and because Epy Quizon, whom Rico highly respects as an artist, was the person who asked him to do it.
